Glorious Weddings in the Texas Hill Country

Sage Hill Inn & Spa specializes in the wedding weekend.  After a glorious day you and your guests can retire to the pampering comforts of your room, or simply rock and relax on the porches overlooking the west lawn and beautiful sunsets. The surrounding porches, breezeway and courtyard, as well as the library and dining room all can be utilized to facilitate the flow of the day's events. The Inn is ideal for weddings for up to150 people. We have multiple outdoor locations to choose from. The courtyard with the rustic buildings in the background is a popular location, as is the back lawn with its amazing twenty- mile view of the Texas Hill Country. Passport to Friday's Chelsea Martin Visits Sage Hill Inn + Spa

Lifestyle Influencer Passport To Friday shares her top things to do!

Your goal should be to unplug and r-e-l-a-x when coming to Sage Hill Inn & Spa, and they have plenty of feel good activities to help you do that. The on-site spa has two treatment rooms that can be adjoined for couples massages. I highly recommend getting a massage here.
Pool time means relaxation time in my book, and Sage Hill Inn’s expansive pool deck does just the trick. It is partially shaded by native oaks for those hot summer days but also offers a large hot tub for cold winter nights. The pool area is equipped with a cooler full of waters, sunscreen, floaties & more!

When those feet grow restless from too much relaxation (but is there even such a thing?), put on your hiking shoes and go explore the acres of land that surround the property. There are over 3 miles miles of scenic hiking trails that will take you past the creek, through the trees, and allow you to see a variety of wildlife. Pick up a hiking map and follow the trails!

Itching to get out and explore Hill Country some more? Drive to nearby Duchman Winery for wine tasting and Salt Lick for some good ol’ Texas BBQ!

My favorite activity however is taking in the beautiful Texas sunsets at the fire pit. I don’t think they can much more stunning!

Hill Country Spa Retreat
Plan a Quick Weekend Away in Kyle
by Julia Celeste

As featured in San Antonio Magazine:

Rustic yet contemporary and only about an hour’s drive away, Sage Hill Inn & Spa has what it takes to be a regular retreat destination. Set on 90 quiet acres between Kyle and Wimberley, the all-inclusive resort makes unwinding your only agenda item. With a maximum capacity of 50 guests in its suites and guest houses, there’s enough room for everyone to feel secluded. The expertly staffed spa features a full range of well-priced treatments. Or simply chill in the large pool and hot tub between walks through abundant nature trails and gardens. The chef-prepared breakfasts and dinners make leaving the only obstacle you’ll face all weekend.

Dressed to Kill Returns with Summer Fashion Poolside at Sage Hill Inn + Spa

Fashionista Dressed to Kill shares fashion and photos during her stay:

For those unfamiliar with Texas geography, just west of Austin is the start of the Texas Hill Country. I feel blessed to have lived in this area for the past 10 years and try to explore what it has to offer any chance I get. Nestled at the start of the Hill Country is the beautiful Sage Hill Inn +Spa, with the beautiful, rustic farm feel any location at this inn makes the perfect backdrop for pictures. They have a gorgeous pool and the patio outside for dinner is absolutely stunning. I obviously couldn’t resist taking an array of fun photos with the gorgeous scenery! With the Texas weather finally making its way to the high 90s laying back by the pool makes the perfect past time here in the South. Buying new bikinis always helps a girl get pumped for the summer and Maison du Maillot has the perfect array of bikinis and one pieces. The swimsuit I ordered from this online boutique reminds me of a mermaid and it matches perfectly with the fun pom-pom handbag I purchased from them. Read more here.

Culture Map's Girlfriend Getaway to Sage Hill Inn +Spa

Culture Map writer Claudia Alarcon  shares her "quick getaway" with Culture Map readers:

Sage Hill Inn is a popular destination for girls’ weekends, which is exactly why my best friend and I were there recently. After settling in our lovely first floor suite, we headed for the pool to cool off while admiring the view and sipping some sangria, where we met another couple of girlfriends who were doing the same. Before dinner we shared a drink on the comfy sitting area on the airy porch, which also boasts a few tables for dining al fresco. Read more here...

Texas Monthly Review Sage Hill Inn & Spa

…..only thirty miles from Austin but light-years outside its orbit. The 88 acres feature two historic-looking buildings and several cottages hidden in the Hill Country underbrush, giving you the feeling of a bygone, more rustic time. But this is a carefully crafted illusion. At night, I sank into a pillow-top mattress. In the afternoon, I dozed off in my room’s whirlpool tub. A grueling stroll along the hiking trails would no doubt require a visit to the spa, located in a quaint tin-roofed building next to beds of sunflowers.

You needn’t be an overnight guest to spot a raccoon or fox, poke around the vegetable gardens, hear the little "tzip" of a hummingbird’s wings along a gravel path, or sit around the fire pit as twilight falls, a blanket across your lap, soaking up the vision of a simpler life. You’ll be back to your real one soon enough.
