DRIVING FROM DALLAS? ZAGAT RECOMMENDS
DAY TRIP RESTAURANTS WORTH THE DRIVE

Here's what writer Stephen Lindsey had to say about Sage Hill Inn & Spa:

Kyle: Sage Hill Inn & Spa
Sure, you can visit the restaurant at this quaint inn with killer views of the sprawling, underpopulated Hill Country without staying on the 88-acre property, but availability is limited. So why not book an overnight stay in one of the rooms, suites or private cottages to guarantee two great meals each day?

Must-order:
Chef Kristen Abram works hard to bring a true farm-to-table experience with an ever-changing daily menu utilizing locally sourced ingredients for every component of her meals. A three-course dinner and full hot breakfast (pictured above) are included with every overnight booking and menus are posted the week prior.

A non-food reason to drive:
There's no need to plan any other excursions because you can relax away an afternoon in the pool, go on a hike to the creek or cozy up in the small spa.

Austin Food Magazine Recommends Sage Hill Inn & Spa Getaway

Austin Food Magazine editor Hayden Walker had much to say about his recent weekend stay, raving about the accommodations, food and restful stay.

Summer is is almost here and travel season beckons. It’s been a tough year for a lot of people so far and you just can’t wait to get out of town for vacation or at least a little getaway for the weekend.  Leaving town for a peaceful getaway is an absolute priority but you’re probably in no mood for loud children or large crowds. After the year you’ve had so far you probably desire something a peaceful, blissful getaway with your lover or spouse.

Serenity isn’t as far as away as you may think.
In fact, it’s just a 30 minute drive from Austin.
